Acquisition sales/presales…? Say goodbye

@b6 acq offers low prices and isn't profitable. They dont care about market share anymore they want money! If they let partners go after acq customers they dont have to go so low in price. Acq g9lden years happened pre public dell. Whe. They had 3x multipliers and payout was 50/50. Thats were the money died. After dell went public they didn't need market share so bye bye x3 mulitplers
Heard they’ll have the offshore LCC teams try to farm those. That’s one reason why some field support is gone.
Accurate - acquisition is for partners now
This is true. ACQ is taking a huge hit and more layoffs expected Monday.
Garbage accounts that have been around for a long time that never yielded anything of consequence. The whole group was a desperate attempt to see if they could revive the dead.
Acquisition was made up of garbage accounts and managed by an inexperienced sales force. They whipped that mule for a year with nothing really to show for it. If this rumor is true, i am not surprised on it's demise.
@b6 the great merge. More accts and less reps/specialty means a greater need to engage partners.
@OP how accurate is this? Genuine question, why would they target acquisition when our goals have been to expand our buyer base?
