UHC is dropping about 1 million MA members in 2026... any news as to how many care coordinators will be laid off?

@b4 I just looked it up. Indeed one million MA members will be dropped. Had no idea the number was that high.
The 1 million was reported by UHG itself due to them closing markets that are not performing well or where it just isn’t worth it to them to provide services.
@OP are you sure about one million? Seems crazy high.
Massive cuts at least at Optum this month. We lost a number of major non-UHC customers on 12/31. Once they are winded down, the jobs are finished.
In a pivot towards mostly catering to UHC, most tech, finance, and administrative tasks will be placed in Ireland and India. They fired a bunch of auditors, lawyers, and compliance in November.
When UHC is the main client they no longer need the pretense of stable US-based data security and expertise.
Wow where did you get that number? I did hear something about CC’s being laid off. I’m also wondering about social workers, NCM’s and BH.
