@b4 They file the notice after and don't care because they pay at least 60 days of severance (which is the WARN notification period) so they aren't subject to fines. This is how it has been for every other layoff over the past 2 years.
I’ve been checking the Ca Warn Act and employers have to give 60 days notice in CA but the only recent thing was a posting a few days ago for layoffs Paramount had on 8/9. Don’t think that’s legal.
October 29 is a Wednesday which is typically a large in office day for many teams. Should be interesting if true.

I heard something completely different.
Well I guess you can't. But when it doesn't happen on Tuesday, 28th, but does on Wednesday, 29th, you will have to accept I was correct and you should have trusted me.
