Thread regarding American Electric Power Co. Inc. layoffs

Tried to go in early this morning…

Was having trouble sleeping so I just decided to go in early and get caught up on some work. Turns out my badge doesn’t work. I guess I can’t be trusted in the building outside of standard hours so I’m sitting in the parking lot for 2 hours wanting to do work for the company but can’t. So this is the power of RTO…

Moral of the story: use your time on yourself, not the company. Sc--w ’em.

Oh yea they caught me. I’d love to see how that conversation would go.
“Have a seat. Based on a post on layoff.com we were able to figure out that you tried to come in early and get some extra work done. We’re gonna have to let you go.”

You can check the security system to see what to see what access your badge has assigned to it.
I have access to specific floors for my job but none of them have a time frame on it. It's all or none. Maybe it's the building you're in, not sure unless we were in the same building (don't tell us) in which cases it should say when it becomes accessible.

Inducing fear in others is how they have lasted this long. It is time to stop being afraid and make them intimately familiar with fear.

Careful about posting things that could identify you. Some angry grudge holder could check "who had a rejected badge today because they showed up 2 hours early to their building?"
