Thread regarding Edward Jones layoffs

Hold Times Will Get Much Much Worse

Former HQ associate who left recently due to severe psychological challenges which were brought on by working at Jones. The forces training that is going on is so bad. They are forcing associates who are not completely comfortable in certain topics to "do the best they can". How is an associate supposed to help branch teams with one week of training. They love to set you up to fail. Mark my words come peak season at the end of the year hold Times Will be about 3 hours long.

Agree 1000% with this poster. The field has no idea how much worse it’s going to get. There were many complaints about not getting the right answer the first time wayyyy before this ER. Most home office associates have no idea what they are doing now because of this ridiculous transformation. Associate training timelines have been cut in half at least. New associates are getting back to back training and then thrown on the phones with no experience 😂 Plus, the outsourcing to an incompetent third party for calls. Gooddddd luckkkkkk!

@b1 lol exactly! I keep hearing about AI doing all our work. We can't even go a week without some new bug or glitch popping up on our existing systems.

@a9 I don't know of any FA's complaining and asking for a reduction in home office employees. I can certainly see the GP's trying to shed employees as they get half the profits generated by the FA's...

@ar Except who is going to deliver this AI? The same product teams that can't even complete 5% of their roadmaps? Thanks for making us laugh until we cry with your delulu post. Much needed relief.

Longer hold times will make your job redundant. Already long enough. Poor argumenť

Who cares? The FAs deserve what's coming for them. They are the ones that complained about home office costs. Even though home office associates did all the work for them and fixed all their mistakes manually. They deserve every ounce of karma that is coming to them and so do all the GPs that have gone along with this disaster that is unfolding.
