Part of the reason why Citi is where it is - I have worked in other global institutions with many non-native speakers in them and I have never seen such low-level written pigeon English being used in emails and documents.
Regarding bonuses - yes, comp is always communicated in the 3rd week of Jan together with the Q4/EOY earnings. No surprises there.
