Because Truist is OK with bait-and-switch in its hiring practices.
Because those on here whining about RTO helped to show their employer that your physical presence isn’t required so we can pay someone else remotely. How did that whining work out?
And amazingly it’ll take years to prove you’re exceptional enough to even ask.
@b0 This actually was a thing at SunTrust. You have to be a good performer to get the privilege of WFH and a lot of people were motivated enough to keep it up. It is a good balance, I think

Good question. I read a job posting that said in-office 5 days but remote was an option for 'exceptional' canidates. Wow! That sends a pretty clear message to the rest of us.
