That is exactly what happened to me. Dec 4th a few years ago. Agency rep calls and reads a prepared speech.

While I hope there are no layoffs, it would not surprise me based on what happened with ICE employees when electrification was all the rage.
Now that EV is on the outs, it very well may be their turn. Funny how things can go...I just know there were so many talented people pushed out of ICE orgs...it will be tough to rebuild to what the company had much less to build those orgs out better!
