Got a new job and put my 2 weeks in right before this mess unfolds. Good luck everyone

You should have quit the first week in September just to stick it to them when things get lean. No sympathy for PP.
@b6 Congrats to you and OP for landing new and better jobs despite this dismal job market. I can't help but ask, where did you end up going to, if you don't mind sharing? Are they still hiring currently?
@az , do you know the person's situation? I don't believe they said in their comment if they're tenured; an LP, received a buyout or is new to the firm.
The poster stated they found a new career and wished everyone good luck.
Congrats! More pay and a healthier environment is what I’m finding two weeks into my new job. I’m literally doing the same work. I hope you find the same!
@az Maybe the person wasn't going to get the ISP but still wanted out. Timing is a problem too; if you don't jump when an offer presents itself, that offer might not be there later.
Congrat's to the person getting the new job and good luck.
Should have taken severance, gotten the payout, then started new job and not told EJ. Kept the money.
You did them a big favor. Gloating about making a poor financial decision that benefits the company you refer to as a dump is weird lol.
