I work in another huge corporate. one of the biggest and richest.
Every 2 years? I'd sign that. We have every 6 months now, if not 3. But 17%? it's usually 5%

@cb An intern told me that their onboarding was changed to go virtual and that they no longer can meet with their intern manager and team till after next week. Which is weird, cause it came with no new reason or why? It makes you think that they are about to cut people that may have hired interns for the summer

It’s gonna be every 6 months from now on.

Yep, steady schedule, Intuit's pattern hits every two years as you said 2020, 2022, 2024, 2026 - I do not see this changing.

@bj It was announced at that time but they started in May. I found an email from a colleague that was her departure back in late May. I guess there were different structures to the layoffs

Is there one in 2022? I thought only 2020 and 2024

@bj That's because of WARN notice. People weren't working those 60 days, they were just on payroll. Their access was shut off immediately.

@ax 2024 layoff was announced in July but the last day was in September. I think it'll be the same this time.
