Payout Timing // Quitting

If I quit next week (3/3) will I still be entitled to the bonus payment on (3/14)?

I know bonus payout is small — just generally curious

Why not just give two weeks notice on 3/15? You can practically quite quit after that.

If you are employed through 3/1 you will get your bonus on 3/14

Zero notice quit: this is the way.

…but wait til your bonus hits your account.

Also file a harassment internal grievance on your way out, without lying about it, just so your manager has to answer investigation questions.

This is not accurate. 4/1 is when your new annual rate takes effect. If you had to pay it back l it was because your leader messed with your termination date to sc--w you over.

The variable compensation PDF says employed on 3/1. However do not trust it. You can safely quit on 3/15 when it hits your account.

As to the question “why not give notice”
Because your leader can decline your notice period and tell you today is your last day and put your bonus at risk.

Notice is a customary courtesy. Not a requirement. Remember, you get no notice when they chose to terminate. Just give them what they would give you and sleep well doing it with no matter what the “saints” here say

The real answer is , you need to be in your position on the 15th and don't quit til 4/1. Or else you will have to pay it back ! Trust me

I think you only have to be employed till March 1st. I remember reading that in colleague zone.

You need to be employed on 3/15. You can quit the next day.

Are you quitting without notice? I support that, but why not quiet quit and get the 3/15 paycheck. March 4th is when they send the PDF with the exact amount.

Oh, and be sure to use your personal holidays. You don’t get paid for those when leaving.

I believe you need to be employed 3/15 to get the bonus. I’d wait.
