Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Network org

I do not see any big changes in the Network org. Most cuts are happening on the consumer and business side.
Our network is getting worse and worse.. Network org remains As-Is ..
Is there any changes in that area ?

@aw Yeah, employees keep causing these and it has always happened. They need to cut more fat and people that don't understand the simple process. The Network hasn't been better

@as I understand your perspective... On the other hand, every other guy/gal remaining in this circus thinks something similar, down to the last pitiful useless Dir/AD.

The sad truths is the network is invisible and uninteresting until it is broken, then it gets absolutely critical to the business in 3 minutes

In 6 months they will hire everyone back as contractors until then you are stuck with the slackers they kept because they were cheaper and the Network will be too far gone by then.

The more CATAs we create, the more they needs us.

This is a bait post. Our team lost 50% in GN&T plus leadership too. We are barely staying afloat. GN&T is the glue that holds this company together and we paid our dues in blood.

They just gutted the network org a few months ago (have you been living under a rock?) and now fewer are doing even more than ever and the cracks are showing.
