Can’t believe there are no comments about the new regime. In the past 5 years, they have gotten rid of/pushed out the best and strongest female leaders. Now it’s the CZ good ole boy club and the few women that will not push back. Sell your stock now.

Agree with company doing a 180 right back to cr-p days. Who would of ever thought those terrible days would return!
Great vids. Mr. push up supervisor is a perfect example of this new leadership. LOSERS
This just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Feels like we're doing a 180. what is going on?
Man you were right. This-reapplying is just smoke and mirrors. We’re told only keeping the best of the best. Funny in the past they just called it layoffs, then work force reductions, then reorganize, now it is if you are still qualified for the job you have been doing. Wonder what they are going to call it next year?
That is just crazy. Why does he do those stupid things.
Great vids - they are hilarious.
You sure got a lot of views. You should start your own channel and call it “temper tantrums”.
I’ve seen this play out firsthand, and I’ll be direct about it.
When hiring is handled internally, the decision is usually made before the posting even goes live. I’ve applied for several high-level roles, and more than once the process was just window dressing. They already knew who they wanted, but they still needed candidates to apply and interview so it looked legitimate. In some cases, they even put the chosen person through a set of online training modules in advance I’ve seen these floating around in shared folders because someone forgot to lock them down.
If anyone says that’s not true, they’re either part of the problem or they’ve never looked closely. That’s why you end up with people in leadership positions who are visibly inexperienced. You can see it in meetings they lack the background but try to cover it with overconfidence. I’ve literally had management tell me, ‘You don’t actually need that experience for this role.’
When it comes to external hiring, the same thing happens in a different way jobs get filled by friends, relatives, or someone’s kid. I’ve seen it multiple times where someone slips up and casually admits, ‘My dad’s the VP,’ as if no one would notice.
The reality is that next year will be rougher. Many of these so-called leaders are going to have to prove themselves, and that’s when the cracks will really show. My advice? Start looking elsewhere. Unless you’re part of the inner circle, you’ll either get squeezed out or overloaded with work until you burn out. I’m already watching this happen in my own department good people who’ve been here a long time are getting sidelined simply because their roles aren’t seen as ‘adding company value.’
Bottom line: the nonsense hasn’t peaked yet. The real show starts when those unqualified leaders are forced to stand on their own
Agree with manager not doing anything. We have told about the goofy silly stuff our supervisor does all the time. Always makes sure at an office or field location that is having goody that day. Then has a dept. meeting and if we say anything not in agreement with tries to intimidate our dept. or is just goofy. He’ll jump up from his seat throw his sandwich on his plate and get down on the dirty floor and start doing push-ups in front of everyone, then jump
Up and go about eating his sandwich with his dirty hands. It’s made for some really funny videos, worth posting on YouTube. I’m sure we are going to see a complete breakdown in front of our group before long.
He will certainly have some great content for résumé job video interviews. Just send them to YouTube and he will not even need to do the interview.
Yes Sir
Just send an email to Corp. and mark confidential.
It will work better for you.
Has anyone else been penalized for discussing in appropriate actions by their supervisor? I thought if you saw your supervisor do something wrong you are supposed to go to your manager. Guess that policy is not for everyone.
@5er You think that’s true? The people being promoted are being hand selected and they were all part of the commercial CZ crew. No experience in their function just part of the party boy club
Spot on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW what a case of Karma. How many times we heard from our supervisors if don’t like it there’s the door. We’ll now we can all reply if you don’t like our union negotiations, there’s the door. Karma! Oh and if you’re are selecting the door the fast food places are looking for supervisors.
USW STRONG
AGREE 110%
It is going to be much more enjoyable working in a fair work environment. Everyone contributed to our company’s success so everyone getting rewarded not just buddies who drink together getting rewarded. Now rather than being penalized for bringing up a concern all we have do is let our rep know and let them resolve. A time saver for everyone. Really being represented was way over due and this should clear up the buddy - buddy issues.
Finally an end to our Buddy Bonus program and now a negotiated fair for all bonus and raise. Thank you to our former co-workers for letting us know there is greener grass out there and fairer equal bonus programs. THANK YOU USW !!!!!
Who is having to reapply?
Marriott
When is the vote for the USW representation?
You are so right, this is just cr-p. Did you get told in your interview that there are a lot qualified employees for your position?
Ah yes, the Great Reapplication Circus. Exactly what I warned you guys about last time, but y’all got in your feelings and flagged the post because truth hurts, right?
So here we are. Rewriting job descriptions. Forcing people to apply for roles they’ve held for 10+ years. Gaslighting folks by pretending they’re “unqualified” for their own work. Bravo. What a dystopian performance.
Let me spell it out again:
The “team huddles” were a joke. They weren’t about collaboration they were cover for the idle, the incompetent, and the leadership parasites to gossip, steal ideas, play favorites, and collect their little ego points. Meanwhile, the real workers kept the ship from sinking, and now they’re the ones being targeted? Please.
This isn’t about men vs women either. Don’t play that card. I’ve seen useless leaders of every flavor male, female, alien, you name it. VP titles don’t mean brains. Most of them couldn’t lead their way out of a paper bag. They just knew how to play the corporate Game of Thrones better than you.
So keep sitting silent while they strip away your rights, rewrite your job into something you’ll never qualify for, and slide in someone cheaper or more “obedient.”
Or maybe wake up and realize what’s coming:
Your replacement doesn’t care about team huddles. It doesn’t need PTO
Leadership 2.0?
Nah.
Leadership 0.0.
Zero empathy. Zero logic.
And honestly? At this point What are you guys waiting for?
Might as well start speaking up cause no one is come to save ya’ll.
@aw it starts at the top.
What dept are having to reapply?
This really gets old having to reapply to our jobs. Only if you work for certain supervisors, they are not all doing it. Our supervisor should have been a kindergarten teacher the way he treats everyone. Lies, lies, lies to our manager just to get a few more brownie points. What a joke of a human being!!!
Here we go again, being told we have to apply to our jobs. Interesting that the job description for our current roles that we’ve been doing for more than twenty years is revised. Even more interesting that they say we might not have qualifications for our own job.
Note that reply was by someone whose handle was “stay in the kitchen”. Sounds like the our execs are on here.
And though I wasn’t saying anything about DEI, your point is false. It isn’t dead (Though I wish it were. We don’t need to promote people just for numbers sake). We kept unqualified ones for optics. Actually we had VERY qualified women a few years back but most of them saw the writing on the wall and left.
DEI is DEAD lol
Agree 100%
Used to be a really good company. Not what is going on with these supervisors, managers, and directors. Just horrible, I don’t know if it is a lack training, or they are nervous because they know there are way to many of them. I agree with everyone that they could eliminate 3/4 of them and everything would run much better and smoother like a few years back. When there is this much competition between a group that is way over staffed they will just continue to treat everyone poorly. So much for the confidential surveys that asked about leaders. I agree with you, I can not imagine the company being sustainable with these leaders attitudes.
