At least the company will be able to save on office space. The remaining employees in DFW can move into a campervan
@15x management the fafo way!
@129 that would be so nice and it would also be nice to not have to attend meetings outside work hours unless the meetings were for customers. It's so annoying that my boss keeps scheduling meetings at 7am just because thats convenient for them but not for any of us here.
Sabre will never go back to being like that though. Those days are gone.
I’d say ‚think long term’ rather than ‚let’s layoff people with experience and knowledge and see what will happen’.
I’m waiting for the 1:50 manager:devs ratio implementation. This is so exciting
@129 Act Locally Think Globally days are over.. Now its Go Global or Go Home. Sorry but the world has turned.... I wish for those simpler days as well....
it would be so nice to go back to work for a company whose employees all spoke English as a first language.
Almost nothing left in DFW, so I guess KRK. C-level will prompt ai and code.
In which locations?
A large number are getting laid off in July.

If we have another layoff then we can hire another of K's old work chums to the C suite!
Wobbles head in Claude agent with a Bangalore accent.
@av we havr contractors? Who aren't Coforge? Really?
You should expect layoffs every month at Sabre, especially now that the Mid East crisis will hit numbers again!
We are heavily losing contractors at end of march...
Probably in May or June. It will be "rebalancing" once the restructure is finalized.
