Post ID: @av+1jgxd2zwr Yeah right, $hittybank's peers have maintained being in the Upper Middle Class or Upper Class for decades, while the highest point $hittybank has reached is Middle Class status. And for the past 15 to 20 years $hittybank has been in the Lower Middle Class to Welfare Status-Low Class status range.
Anyone with half a Brain knows that Layoffs produce a temporary increase in stock price that's Not sustainable in the long term. Companies still need to be profitable, sell products and services that customers will buy. There's Nothing that $hittybank sells that its Competitors can Not sell, create and do better at a cheaper price.
The stock price wise is doing pretty well though .. looks like going strong
I hope the stock does well. I assume it will for a while anyway. Every layoff\restructuring announcement in itself usually spurs growth. The question is, can Citi sustain this growth or does it go back down 6 months down the road. The growth has to have legs.
I hope the stock does take off like a rocket so that we can catch up to and hopefully in some manner surpass our peers.
