While the communication does not give a percentage or number. I think we are going to 20 to 25%

I know this is a joke thread but....
Next round of cuts will not come out this week. It’s actually Aug 21st.
Final numbers haven’t been announced to management but it will be 675 total of sporadic grades.
Management will be affected a little more this time.
They won’t decide on any further bigger numbers till the 4th qtr.
How I know all this is one of Calhoun’s dumb–s daughters just got down choking the ding dong down and spilling the beans on the whole operation. Gulp!!!!!!!!

I heard they were laying off 600,000. Even though there is not 600,000 Boeing employees, Boeing will lay off Google employees, Microsoft employees, Amazon employees, etc. Boeing is known to go "above and beyond"; what dedication!!! Wished I were still working for Boeing instead of my super stable job with another company.
if you work for Boeing Commercial in the Puget Sound region, NOBODY is safe until they wake up on the 4th of July 2021 and are still gainful full-time employed .....these cuts will go VERY deep at Boeing, my guts tells me when dust settles in 2021: 25% or more - gone!
Been here 24 years, I feel terrible for those who cant see what is happening. We are all finished. Aerospace as we knew it is over. Never happened before until now, have an exit plan

The movie is about to start, my popcorn is ready. This round will be about the same as the 1st round of 5,800 WARM notices (PS) but worldwide about 8K and 4 years seniority saying goodbye.
Let's spread fear. Boeing originally said it would lay off 10% worldwide or approx 16k.
To date, 5500 VLOs and 7500 ILOs have been issued for a total of 13k.
Therefore, assuming that they are sticking to the 16k this year (and they have not announced otherwise, but always can) the number will NOT be over 3k. Since they have several more dates listed for layoffs it is doubtful it will be even that high.
But let's wait and see who is right. Don't worry, when I am right (less than 3k) I will be back to gloat.
Better have 10-15 years in!
