Don’t ever get sick or need medical assistance in the US. Healthcare here is a joke and Cisco just made it worse by switching from Cigna.

Insane that you posted this. Do you even understand what you’re advocating for here?
Where is Luigi when you need him
@at+1jgm7z10p, I hate to break it to you, but UHC did NOT pay > $1M in healthcare for you in 2024.
Cisco is, and has been for as long as I can remember, self-insured. Cisco pays UHC & Cigna to _administer_ their plans. At the end of the day, Cisco paid > $1M. Which makes you a VERY expensive employee, so you can bet you’ll be on an LR list in 2025.
In 6.5 years UHC has never denied a claim for me. Sometimes it took a few calls and sometimes they required the Dr to re-write the claim differently, but um... something else is up with this post.
@aa+1jgm7z10p - Yes, in 2024 (not this year) UHC paid >$1M in medical expenses for me.
Now I understand why everyone is complaining about rate hikes with UHG, and CEO didn’t have enough left to pay others, and had to deny.

Good for you but I highly doubt UHC paid more than $1 for any claim you’ve had this year. Maybe last year but certainly not this year. The bill wouldn’t have even dropped yet.
UHC paid >$1M in medical expenses for me this year so I have no complaints about them.
Oh boo hoo.
