Will the outbreak of the Coronavirus delay the closures of the current and next round of Sears & Kmart store if they are unable to contain the outbreak?

Don't worry.....Customers will flock to Sears because Sears has something the competition doesn't.......Shop your way points!....LOL.....
On the contrary, this will speed things up so they can finally get rid of these rotten stores. I hope they are all gone very soon.

Regardless of when the merchandise is ordered, deliveries will be twice a week.
@1tmq+13XycJaV Not true at all. Was just told that Kmart is going to order stuff by quarter for now on.

"Kmart doesn't have the ability to replenish these [essentials and consumables like food, medicine and paper products] products in a timely manner. Anyone see the pantry counters go bare while the new supplier was sending in product? It took over a month to get house brand paper towels back."
That was the case six months ago. Kmart now has most of those products delivered by a 'grocery wholesaler' on a weekly (soon to be twice-weelky) basis.
The news from H.Q is that Sears is opening new small format stores that carry only toilet paper and paper towels.
During a State of Emergency, consumers are not going to rush to a Sears or Kmart to go clothes shoppimg. Consumers are concerned with essentials and consumables like food, medicine and paper products. Kmart doesn't have the ability to replenish these products in a timely manner. Anyone see the pantry counters go bare while the new supplier was sending in product? It took over a month to get house brand paper towels back.
There are "rounds". The last one, though kind of weak, still blasted out, about 12 Kmarts and 30 Sears. These things happen in rounds, and we'll likely be rid of both brands' full line stores, at least, by 2020. The franchised stores and some online presence might remain into 2021, plus maybe a trivial amount of full lines in exotic locations such as Guam, and USVI, but that's about it.
There are no more “rounds”, its 2 here 3 there. If anything as other stores sell out of stuff people will hit up the few remaining Kmarts and it’ll extend things another month or two.
Short of a complete travel ban/forced business closure I don't think anything will change with the current round of closures.
If anything it's the final excuse just to shut the whole thing down.
You have a link to substantiate your claims on the closings? Otherwise we can expect business as usual punta
Most all of the toilet paper supply is on eBay now.
2 non related subjects. You are either a mental midget or a total ( ! ) h0le. Now go hunt for toilet papar!
