Has anyone noticed that managers at Commscope only manage up.
So true. I see it even now, left a while back and the same people who were always in meetings and if not in a meeting, they'd be on a plane somewhere to do with work. That's still going on despite the financial difficulties the company faces.
I know these same people see it as a free holiday, no expense spared. One has to wonder what value these people offer the business. So far as I can see, it is none and they'll keep taking their salary until they can no more.
The fun has to stop sometime at the rate this is going.
I used to say that waiting tables was the worst job I ever had until I worked for CommScope. Horrible experience, awful company, data breaches. Ugh.
The truth about most company, including Comm, they do not need engineers or physical work force, they only need talkers, stock market is all their focus. Good luck on sinking ships.
At this stage they simple don't care about optics. Lay off employees and advertise vacancies within same department before employees have worked their notice.

Of course they can afford another VP, they eliminated enough IC's to justify a VP position.
Sure they laid off plenty in last few weeks..that's savings well spent surely:-) it's important to have another body on the gravy train.no need to worry about the peasants !!
