My small team hasn't been hit yet. I'm a bit in the dark. But I'm seeing a lot of orgs getting hit, both here and overseas. I'm really sorry, everyone. It feels like we're in for some bad times. I wish the best of luck to those already let go.

@cg hate to tell you, but we were all sold-out way before GM took over
Last year Surgical RIFs were the weeks of February 17 and May 12
Its not over until Surgical RIF's are complete, but I've seen nothing from Surgical folks getting the HR meeting invites being posted,
@ze And you know this, how?
Bs. Over and done
Everyone should be updating their resumes and exploring new career opportunities. The biggest riff in MDT history is quickly approaching. Be warned, It’s going to be an ugly.
Surgical is always late to the RIFs game, takes them a month to figure out who does what. MDT direct reports are likely safe for this qtr. Surgi IDK
@dh You are not wrong. At end of April, last year, everyone thought the layoffs were done for the year. Not so, more got let go 3rd week of May. Unless you know people who get cut, it’s all a big secret.
@d5 Sorry, didn't mean to make it sound like I am expecting multiple 'imminent' rounds but just that for this wave, they are likely fine. Who knows when the next one is
@as or Cognizantronics
You expecting multiple waves of RIFs? That can’t be good for moral.
If you havent gotten a call laying you off by now, you are probably fine this round.
Seriously. Medtronic is no longer American. It’s ridiculous. GM and the rest of his buddies sold us out.
Should just call this company Indiatronics
Anyone has any news related to MiniMed? I heard lots of people were let do in Diabetes. Is this a big wave?
Don’t stress about it.
