It looks like every comment on the intel layoff portion of this site is down voted. I posted a new comment on an old post, it was down voted immediately. So it is systematic. It is humanly impossible to check all new comments and down vote them. Please check. Anyway, the site is lame

Take off the tinfoil hat, @OP. If you necro’d an old thread and didn’t add anything new, that’s probably why you got downvoted.
There are two big buttons right above the thread list: “New” and “Active”. Most people use “Active”, which sorts threads by recent replies. Pointlessly bumping a dead thread just clutters the feed, hence the downvotes you’ve earned.
@aw See, I just read my last post, and so upvoted it.
refresh, refresh..
This could take a while to complete.
OP maybe your comments and the thread you posted on were uniformly d-mb, not funny, or otherwise of low quality?
Like the previous poster, I use upvotes to mark that I've read the post, so it equals out.
But everytime I open my browser, my votes don't show, so I have to do it all over again, starting from the top.
Oh the humanity.
That's mostly me. I like to use downvotes as a way to mark that I've read the post.
Of course, it is a troll site, and voting is trolling without using all the words.
@as The manifestos match!
Occam's Razor suggests that this post is just trolling but I could go with OP being the UniBummer.
if this site is lame why not leave and go touch grass outside? maybe take your schizo meds too
Have you considered maybe your comments are just bad? There's an "active" sort I and most browsers usually use so posting on an old post will make it pop up at top leading to quick reacts. Makes more sense than some conspiracy imo
I bet you were a hall monitor in high school and not popular with getting any trim
