Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Here comes all the a-s kissing linkedin posts

Why does every layoff post on LinkedIn sound like.. I am devastated to be impacted… but eternally grateful for this opportunity to realign my professional synergy? Bro, we got laid off, not inducted into the Hall of Transformational Growth. It’s okay to just say it phaking su-ks

@ca

I am not saying he is a bad person. He is far from it. But the fact that he had decades with Intel and unretired; for what? To bring Intel down? I don’t get it. His work amounted to nothing but lost jobs. It’s wild. All these pats on the back and hugs for what?! How can you be proud of your career when at its end a juggernaut of industry, an American institution and brand is in rubble and shambles. There is nothing to be proud about here. If anything there should be shame and humility. This is just crazy to see and read espically while some folks are losing their homes.

Dunno. Mine just said basically "Hey everyone, I've been impacted and am open to new roles. If anyone knows of anything I'd appreciate a head's up."

LinkedIn is just a feedback loop to the indoctrination. I shut that sh-t down years ago and my life much better because of it.

Kiss a-s posts won't help you get a new job if Capitalists refuse to hire people.

Here's something many people may not know.

You don't have to ever post on LinkedIn. It's true! You don't need to share your thoughts on a social media site that is a dumpster fire of self fe-----o, fake hustle and grind stories, and boomers posting political cr-p like they think it's Facebook.

You can not post a thing! Honestly! No employer is going to see your post and scream at their HR department to immediately hire you.

I don’t understand how that’s become so common it almost feels like table stakes.

People can’t conceive to get FIRED and not bloviate about the goodness of the id--ts who just upended one set of lives to preserve another?

@an true, but this is anonymous here. So trash away people. Intel su-ks!!!

Trashing your former employer, even if they deserve it, turns off prospective employers. Y
Piling on the bs is obvious to other people as well. Future employers will likely check your online presence so it’s best to keep a low profile.
