Hey.... Fellow office supply person here.
Trying to find out if Staples has commissioned Sales rep... I posted in another thread, but people said it was "stupid".... The days of a commissioned sales rep is going away.
So... if anyone would be kind enough to let me know.
or is it base plus commission.

@as actually not looking to work at Stap. I just want to know how this industry's changing. There were companies in the past that paid commission only... but it was good. Seems like the trend now is no commissioned sales people.

@OP Wondering why your asking about working at a company when you are literally on a board that is all about Staples laying off people left and right….just sayin….
Both inside and outside sales are paid a base + commission.
The only company that pays it's salespeople a flat rate is Amazon Business IIRC - not sure if other supply distributors have similar comp structures for their sales teams
