Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

I have never worked so hard for so little reward

The least they can do is make the last few standing feel appreciated for keeping the fort held down. They lay people off, they don’t replace. People retire, they don’t replace. Someone on disability? Oh well pick up the slack or you’re next. As I’m working harder and harder I’m thinking to myself how long can this keep going? I mean my paycheck is getting eating by inflation yet I’m working 3x as hard for the same pay while my supervisor takes care of his personal errands during work hours. God only knows what the AD is doing. Never in my life have I been so disappointed by a company. Will we lose all of our employees or our customers first? Only time will tell.

They are bleeding B2B out. Doing all they can to get us to quit so they don't have to pay out severance. "Leaders" are in way over their head, have NO idea what they are doing. All Parrots just regurgitating the same stupid messages. "What's closing" calls three times a week to go over the exact same deals that are already in several different spreadsheets that everyone has access to. I miss the old days. This place su-ks.

A perceptive individual would ratchet down their productivity/efforts to match the current rewards. Equilibrium is a natural state.

@OP: all of the ADs' positions need to be permanently displaced. There are other management tiers as well needing to be slashed but imminent should be the AD positions.

Specifically, all the AD positions, within the Information Technology (IT) ranks, and immediately from locations such as Temple Terrace, FL, and Irving, TX.

More specifically, all the ADs' whom are of a H1-B, non-permanent visa status, an employer-sponsored, non-immigrant visa that allows U.S. employers to temporarily employ foreign workers.

You are working 3 times as hard for the same pay but if you adjust to inflation and cost of living, you are making 50% less. So, it’s 3 times the work for 50% less money.

It’s a silent layoff! They are just wearing down their labor so they leave or conform. That’s why you shouldn’t have loyalty to any big corporation because you are just a number. Disposable like a diaphragm.
