Confirmed in the supply chain town hall today.
The room was quite sparse and "questions" were clearly staged.

@b0 yes they are closing the Houston DC in June and laying off everyone and moving some employees to the Waxahachie DC and there they just announced layoffs of like 16 managers
@ar in Texas, the Houston DC is closing and the Waxahachie DC is laying off alot of managers
"questions" are always staged because the leaders are afraid to take real questions from the audience and HR has to present it like they are being helpful
The news is not counting store leadership DMs and other regionals - maybe 300 there. Plus other remote support roles were laid off. Other employees were placed into other roles.
@ar I believe 469 was corporate. There were 159 "impacted" in a Texas area distribution center as well. Orlando Centralized Services had a few layoffs as an earlier post noted. It's possible that there were a layoffs here and there in outlying offices across our "great" company adding up to1200 employees "impacted".
@ar yes they said 1200 people were "impacted"
@OP did they say this was the number in the town hall? the news is saying 469
