👉Webex losing ground to Microsoft Teams. Integration Challenges with Sp--k. These two units are described as Death Spiral.
👉Severance is Reportedly Minimal for those with less than 10 years of Service.

If true, I'm happy Cisco is finally cutting dead weight from acquisitions past & present. Should have been done a looooooooong time ago. Meraki ppl are toxic.
@ae yes after the MF spent billions acquiring companies and BS’ing that Webex had turned around and got promoted. Same effing playbook he is using and will use to get to CEO

Meraki engineers are at meter now. May be the affected with recent LR can join them at meter.
Mist of them made money and just relaxing at meraki. Good riddance!
Duo got impacted too. About 10-15% & includes managers, engineers, product and PMs.
G2 gave up on Webex a long time ago. I don't think there is any expectation to compete with Microsoft Teams.

Meraki is confirmed impacted, including VP Dan Aguayo who is one of the founding members of Meraki. LR happened on Thursday. Any post you see after that is probably just the impacted people posting about it later.
Are these new lrs (carried out today) or a carry over from last week?
