What happen to giving existing employee who toiled away for years career opportunities?
I noticed company hiring more people with less than 3 years of work history with no skills in the job. Didn’t even start them on the basics. Wow, what a slap in the face for current employees who were not given these opportunities. Sure, the new hires have the right pedigree from the right universities, but they haven’t done anything to earn the shiny new position. Qualification to top jobs is who you know and optics.
