The layoffs are reflected in the stock price - lower cost. As they've done in the past, hey'll report a restructuring cost (severance/release of claims amount) event during their next call(s) and the street will like it.

This is funny. My Dell stock has paid out over $800k in 5 years with RSUs (136%) and RSUs from this year are already up 34% since March
