Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

SSA

I’m 59 and I’m so glad Frank is leaving. Yabuki was good but not great… Frank is a fu--ing monster. Good riddance. If anyone who is working here is seriously concerned about social security then you need a new financial advisor.

Please let that man sc--w up other people’s problems that aren’t ours.

A ponzi is something that delivers value to first joiners based on others who are about to join, and disappears later. Whoever just posted that is probably a DEI hire.

“It will be your problem quite soon when you try to retire.”

Well no it won’t. Not all of us posting here are in the US.

I love how many here keep calling it a ponzi scheme which makes it blatantly obvious you have no idea what a ponzi scheme is.

I have been forced to pay into it, so I do want my money back one day.

If he can made SSA employees doing badge swiping and on Sapience, I don't have an issue with it.

Sounds like the OP is also a fu--ing monster. Do you even understand how many people will be impacted by decisions made by the SSA?

@bg+1jjyywd6f US life expectancy is increasing again. But it's still not good that my di-k won't work when i can finally collect social security one day.

US life expectancy has decreased quickly in the last 5 years and is already low at 77.

Meanwhile:

Those born in 1955 will have a full retirement age of 66 and two months, and 1956 babies will be at 66 and four months.
Those born in 1957 will see their full retirement age moved to 66 years and six months, with 1958 babies earning full payments at 66 years and eight months.
Finally, those born in 1959 can get full Social Security checks at 66 and 10 months, and those born in 1960 will reach full retirement age at 67.

At this rate what happens to people graduating college who just start working if it raises 0.5 years every year, at the same time that our society becomes more overworked and unhealthier and dies earlier. You must have sh-t for brains to think something that gets worse every year is a success.

@aq+1jjyywd6f It's a ponzi scheme old man. The older generation is su-king up the resources of the country and set us up for economic disaster and decreasing living standard for the young. But you keep telling yourself SS is not a ponzi. Maybe when us 20 somethings can retire at 90 at this rate. Super successful! Enjoy your 70s soon.

Dude Social Security was always one big Ponzi scheme! Politicians said that money was set aside for you - meanwhile they spent it.

All that money is gone & its only a matter of time until reality sinks in.

Yeah I totally shouldn't be concerned at all about the viability of social security under the stewardship of a billionaire who is there to serve other billionaire criminals. I mean, I only paid into it for decades!
