Thread regarding Ford layoffs

I get all my work done in 30 hours max

The rest of the time? I’m just lazing around. Is it wrong not to look for more work when I have zero plans to stay here long-term? I don’t think so. Ford hasn’t shown any loyalty to employees, so why should I show any in return? Why bother?

Do the absolute minimal. Going extra won't help you at Ford.

@am why? Fake job, real job — direct deposit still hits the same. I can take credit for the real talent and brag like this to cover my a-s while they cover mine through coercion. The comoany will keep it hush and the labor laws don’t fear invisible minorities that can’t afford the try us in court tactics. Nobody will be believe then either

We’ll destroy his career if he spoke up

People will get annoyed by his screams

Free game. If u don’t do it. I’ll do it

@a8 this is fake. Talent doesn’t get access to benefits. Cr--s in a barrel. Talent doesn’t get breaks, time off etc. you finish all your work? Doesn’t matter. Ur watched 247 subjected to forced labor doing the work for three people taking credit. This is a pipe dream. Not in model e. Forced labor is real for talent. Making talent weak is real.

@a8 @a8 Ford tends to have a cr--s in a barrel mentality towards hands that feed them most. Meaning everyone around you will get benefits you are entitled to, except you. That means no higher education for you too.

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=cr--s-in-a-barrel

The design for talent is to limit their growth to keep them weak and controllable. You should also pay attention to how many people ride off your work. If you’re talented, I mean. Asking for more work means ghostwriting more…

Also, I don’t believe ops story. The cr--s usually keep you on watch 247 so you produce without breaks or lunch. Not sure I buy it. They squeeze you and make lemonade from the sweat that comes out to talent. Carrot and stick is effective. They lie about the carrot and use it as a stick though to discredit you BTW

With those extra 10 hours you really should be learning new skills, you will regret not doing so later. Take advantage of the time to study for certifications and have Ford pay for the tests. You will be glad to have those certs when applying for future jobs.

If you poke your head up asking for more work you will become a layoff target

Ford is expected to lose 10 to 15 percent of its valuable employees soon.

It's a great point. I am newer here, and if this is how Ford treats employees, I can see why it's union heavy with many worker protection. This is nuts and I am actively looking elsewhere, this is NOT healthy at all.
