What do we expect to be announced at the all staff meeting this week? There’s a lot of conjecture over a big announcement, but l’m guessing it’s a nothing burger. WS will reaffirm the strategy, applaud that it has been effective and encourage employees to stay the course and do more with less. No new layoffs, no merger. What do you think?

I'm hoping for a televangelist type show. I hope Wael and the whole EC go among the people speaking in tounges and healing the sick and declining wells, raising the profits (Prophets... see that is a play on words there), and then comforting the forlorn. Then they will speak of the days to come when heaven comes down to sHELL.

The OP asked what people think, not what they know.
I think it’s illegal to share information with significant commercial/financial import before it has been shared with the markets.
Why would anyone tell staff anything first when you can control the message by reporting it to the press and then letting staff read it in the news?
Come-on, ya'll need to realize people insider trade and tell everyone who will listen just for the attention even if they don't make money.
