CVS has squashed any media attention to this massive layoff. The CEO of CVS, named the most powerful woman in the country, is presenting at a Forbes conference this month, hailing how wonderful CVS is and the awesome powers of her evil leadership and corrupt financial savvy. Let this be a life lesson on what the media covers and what it doesn't . There's a part in our termination papers that tells you if you are contacted by the media to refer them to one particular person. They do not want this out. How do we get this the attention it needs?

2500 people is pretty large
You'll know when there's an actual massive layoff, because of the WARN announcement. And the media will pick that up. Some of you just have a skewed opinion of what represents 'massive' at a company this size. Nobody is squashing anything. They're just riding below the numbers required for notifications, like every other large company does unless they have no choice.
Are you surprised? This is exactly how CVS operates.
What massive layoff?
There are so many posts on Linked In right now with both Coram & CVS tagged as well as many tagging #opentowork so it will not be long until someone in the media picks this up. We can only hope right?
