Anyone know what sort of reorg we’ll be seeing or when it will be announced? Will wireless and wireline ops finally merge? What happens now.

@bf Yes, since the RIF that just happened was the major “restructure.” The next big one is the frontier merge. I believe they have about 15k employees, so 10000% the next RIF will concentrate on getting rid of redundancy.
All that said, god speed to everyone. Layoffs s-ck so bad; I’ve been through a couple myself.

@an Do you really think Dan will do a VSP? I was told reduced severance which aligns with the current overall Corporate America greed.
@aj There will 100% be another RIF at the end of Q1 or Q2. Once the Frontier acquisition is complete and integrated, they will cut out redundancy, along with VSP to the more senior people that remain.
I have been around awhile and was informed I lost my job today. Very different than the last big involuntary RIF in 2015. I have been hearing whispers another RIF will happen end of Q1 2026 (based on salary) and will most likely be a smaller RIF package.
I have been actively searching since Dan's email about becoming lean. I thankfully have an interview lined up for Monday. Do not get complacent. VZ is about to bleed you dry before it bloats up again and does another massive RIF. Look for greener pastures.

Reorg will happen on 12/1 in the systems. We will know before 12/1. Heard today from AVP.
