Morale is so low that most people just do enough to get by. I used to care a lot, but now I wouldn’t even mind if they let me go. I’ve started applying elsewhere because this place doesn’t make you feel valued anymore.

@jb whose grandpa is this
Boo fu--ing-hoo. You ‘lost motivation’? Join the club. Half this place stopped giving a sh-t years ago and the other half are too busy polishing their resumes to notice you sulking. You think Ford’s gonna suddenly hand you a participation trophy because you used to care? Fu-k no. They don’t value you, they don’t value me, they don’t value anyone, welcome to reality. So either cash your paycheck and shut the fu-k up, or grow a spine and get the he-l out instead of crying like you’re the first one to feel invisible in Dearborn.
If there were jobs outside of Ford, I bet 90% of people would leave Ford and only LLx stay.
Makes sense given there have been so many layoffs this month according to this site. You probably are lonely by now.
@av So very true. Watch the trending Ted talks and you'll know the next "innovation" to come out of leadership mouth.
95% of us feel this way and the other 5% just lie about it
@an I learned this the hard way at the beginning of my career. Always be applying to other companies, regardless of how good or bad your current job is. You never know when your entire office can abruptly be laid off.
Strip the branding and the scripted empathy, and what’s left is a conference-room algorithm reciting buzzwords at 0.75x TED-Talk cadence. Why don't you feel valued? We're building the world of tomorrow.
Feel? Tell me how do you feel buttercup? You sad?
Applying elsewhere is something you should always be doing as a general common sense tactic. If you trusted the clowns running Ford enough NOT to be looking for another job there'd be something wrong with you. You've seen how fast they let people around you go right? They dont give 2 $hits about you, never have and they never will. Same for all of us.
