I had a turkey and Swiss sandwich for lunch today with a cup of tomato soup and a glass of iced tea.

See, the previous post just proves what we all know. Unions su-k the big one. And, you should stay in school, stay out of jail, learn to speak and write clearly, and of course…. Learn when to keep quiet.
@ba+1jk8s3m3s I think I know this person, have you unhooked your lips off your bosses a-s yet? If you ever fed catfish you got the picture.
@an+1jk8s3m3s What is the "Deli Directive"?
Oh jeez. Union lies from someone who can’t spell or put an organized sentence together. Probably should have stayed in school past 6th grade.
Don't expect job security at Walmart, if you think your not expendable you aren't paying attention. It's right there in black and white, the associate or the employer can part was at any time for any reason. So tell yourselves what you like but that rug can be pulled out from under you at anytime for any reason, so keep that in mind when planning for the future. Unions have job security but until people unite they will replace everyone as they please. 80% of what they sell comes from China, they just buy it from Temu and sale it to Americans, lol good luck you all.
Foul
Was this a continuation of the announcement last year about closing remote offices and having people relocate to Bentonville?
Layoffs are always sad, that never changes. Working at Walmart, one now has to understand that the days of loyalty to associates is gone. You could list several reasons for that and many would be spot on. But, the bottom line is that Walmart clearly isn’t the same company it was and Walmart no longer deserves to be respected or revered for taking care of its workers. For associates that are working remote, my advice is to leave. Believe me, even if you relocate to Buttville there’s nothing to guarantee you won’t get hit again.
For everyone that is leaving, this is an opportunity. Make the most of it. Everything will be fine and once you land somewhere you’ll wonder why you ever bought that “Gimme a W” cr-p.
There have been some layoffs too besides just the news about the deli directive.. not sure how many tho.. I know at least two people who were impacted
My team was affected, all remaining remote employees asked to relocate to BV.
Even skilled software engineers weren’t spared. Guess being good at the job wasn’t enough—should’ve mastered the art of manager-pleasing instead 🤪
Some scrum masters (or just one are terminated) and the update to team is that this week will finalize some organisational changes.
Anyone have more details?
It's that time of year
