Intel on resume is bad?

Will having a dead company on your resume look bad?

Unfortunately it is. It wasn’t 20 years ago. It used to be a gold star on your resume. But now nearly all in our industry see it and immediately throw those resumes with it into trash bin.

It’s not immature it’s realistic and truth. Go speak to others in other companies ask if they will hire you. They will very politely say no. I would say you are the immature one for not seeing reality. Why would anyone hire the engineers who failed and ki-led a major company. Would you hire the same engineers that built the Hindenburg to build your next airplane? - No you definitely wouldn’t

@ax+... you will viewed this way too one day. With your immature attitude I wish we could have left you holding a bigger bag of sh!t. I think that we should run the national debt up to $100 trillion and leave that for you too.

@ax, have you always been stupid or is it something that has come on lately? You lump all the retirees in the same boat as if all of them created Intel’s problems. A lot of good hard working employees retired took the VSP, Intel offered the packages and they took them, don’t blame them. In fact you would have done the same thing if you were of retirement age, now you just seem bitter. Besides if they didn’t take those packages you would have been ISP’ed much sooner.

OP doesn’t prepare and/or know how to interview, and now has sour grapes. That’s on you and you alone

Define bad. I think you will be lowballed for sure, since intel is sinking and people are desperate. This su-ks, but it's not 'reject by default if intel in resume' bad.

It doesn't really matter. If you have the skills that they are seeking then you have a shot. The biggest problems will be for managers and executives who made or enforced the bad decisions. Bottom line, you can't do anything about it so just be prepared to answer questions about your skills and have a good answer for why you stayed so long.

Yea it’s a failed company. It’s like having blockbuster on your resume. Will be viewed in same light. Be sure to thank the retirees for leaving you in the mess. As @an+1jhxz2f7m pointed it- it didn’t happen over night. Took many years of those retirees hard work to get us here. They got their money and left us holding the check

@an is an example of the racist Indians we had to endure at Intel. Just bottom of the barrel trash using their connections to scheme and destroy everything that everyone worked so hard before them to build. Have fun working for Elon!

Ignore the troll who su-ks his daddy's di-k and fu---d his momma in the a-s. The pe-v is a sh------n of a cumfu-k whose only purpose in life is to ma-------e and eat sh-t while getting his a-s reamed by g-y black men while watching his sister blow a donkey.
Your resume just needs to showcase your skills and what you can bring to the company. Intel did not get to this point overnight. Many, many great people have worked and succeeded at Intel.
