If you are asking WHY?

A quick reminder: the board needs to fund Jeff’s $130M options package.

The irony of all this is that (id say) employee morale is probably the lowest its ever been and IMO it all started when he came around.

Employee morale tanks while the execs make the millions at the expense of those same employees....sounds about right

JC is trying to ensure our operating expenses comes low by doing layoff to fund his RSU’s. He is probably 62 and that RSUs will vest in 10 years so he wants to make most out of it in whatever 3 years he has left before retirement.

"Dell Technologies Inc all-time high stock price is $179.70, occurred on May 29, 2024." - since then tireless work by wise leadership has brought this from an unfortunate $179 to a winning $116.

@d2 it's not just Management on the thread, it's probably JC himself trying to justify his massive payout, of which there is no justification.

Can anyone give a list of 3 top accomplishments that he was directly responsible for where he didn't steal the credit from others who came with an idea or did all the work? I sure as he-l can't.

It seems like Management has entered the chat. Can you give us concrete examples of what this person has done? Not marketing statements but actual examples.

@am So he is going to make the company $390 million, that;s the triple you have mentioned and they are going to give him a $130 million of it, yeah that makes sense

@ah If you’re C level at one of the biggest companies in the world and your biggest ACCOMPLISHMENT is your T-shirt, you’re doing something very very wrong.

He probably has a business plan that shows he will more than double, triple etc his 130 Million Dollar package. Whether you like him or not, that's how they judge the guy.

If you’re C level at one of the biggest companies in the world and the biggest criticism is your T-shirt, you’re doing something right. Shining example of a true winner and he deserves every dollar.

He and has stupid t-shirts aren't worth $1.30, let alone 130M.

Cr--s in a bucket. God forbid someone who’s worked hard their whole life to move their way up the chain, given this company over 40 years in the process, led the business to market leading status, and navigating many challenging transitions on the way - gets a large payout. We gave some Baine chump 40m for sh**ting the bed for 6 months a couple years ago, but yeah sure JC is the problem.

Jeff was one of you once upon a time. The difference is he knew how to play the game and played it well. If he was given a 40% paycut I can guarantee you he would’ve hit the bricks the next day. Good employees look up to him.
