There is only one way to send a message to the execs and the board, do not participate in Tell Dell. Because if you participate and that translated to a lower eNPS score, they will shamelessly lower the benchmark once again and party. Instead boycott and do not participate in TD, let the message be loud and clear that we are all tired of stupid policies.

100% agree on not completing Tell Dell. Zero point whatsoever. THEY DO NOT GIVE A FLYING FAHQ about what their employees think.
Giving an overwhelming all encompassing negative response will just result in your line manager getting the blame. See it happen year after year.
DO NOT FILL IT IN
managers do not get a list of who has or hasn't. they get numbers of ppl that have or haven't and the region LA, EMEA etc
Skipping or ripping management on TD will do nothing but torpedo your immediate manager and put a huge target on your back. It is one of the most we-ponized employee surveys in the IT industry. They don't care what you think. Hard to accept that but the sooner you do the happier you'll be. Just give 10s unless you hate your boss and/or know you are heading for an exit.
you guys dont get it do you?
good news is good news
bad news is good news
no news is good news
If I'm still with Dell when this comes out, I will be ignoring it this year. It's not like they do anything about the results - other than to twist them around into what they want the results to say (like the "everyone wants to go back hybrid" year). Last year, my team had a negative score. Management didn't care and didn't make any positive changes. Why should I cooperate with them if they're not going to take it seriously.
They are expecting the general population to complain about their newly found prison sentence. Let’s not forget that company surveys are just a means to placate the masses to make it look like they care. The human component continues to erode as employees take a backseat to billionaire profits.
@am+1jksg6727, do you think we care about managers and leaders scores in tell dell? They don't care about us or fight for us with this 5 days RTO. Su-ks to su-k. If theu don't like their job they should get a new one! They just parrot all the bullsh-t and do nothing for us. They deserve to be told how unhappy we are. And if that leads to a pip or layoff... sounds like their problem just like forced 5 days rto is our problem. 🤷♀️
I think our execs stopped listening to their employees years ago. Don't possibly put at target on your back, put 10 for everything like I do.
You will notice that most of the TD questions relate to your immediate manager, and not relating your POV on the direction of the company or the policies that the ELT is setting. So if you don't do the TD, or blast it hard, you're really only hurting your direct manager. The Exec team is shielded from that survey. So basically it's just a bunch of garbage.
I respectfully disagree. Fill out the Tell Dell survey and be very specific about your complaints About management from the top down and what else maybe wrong.
Give managers low ratings. - Some managers deserve decent ratings.
The management philosophy is that if you don’t fill out the survey then evevery thing must be fine.
WTFC it makes no difference what we think anyhow. You're soon going in 5 days a week, if that isn't an FU to you, then I don't know what is.
Although your TD answers are anonymised, managers do receive a list of who hasn’t taken the survey.
leaders/managers that get low tell dell scores are potential / automatic for layoff just like if anyone is put in a pip (performance improvement plan)
Isn’t failing to do Tell Dell just asking for a target on your back?
Dell treats its people like furniture. I don't think they give a rats ar-e about any survey.
