Thread regarding Paramount Global layoffs

Did they pay out bonuses in any of the last rounds of layoffs?

Would be nice to have on top of severance, its so close to the end of the year.

@ak Again, please stop giving advice based on the September opt-in. Per HR, that was considered a voluntary resignation. I am not saying that bonuses would be paid out in this case, but it is not apples to apples.

You won't get your bonus unless your end date is 12/31/25. Confirmed by HR during the severance offer period in September.

@ah and @aa.

You needed to be staff non-exempt and at least a manager for bonus eligibility. IC's do get them but again at level beyond senior. There was a difference between the Viacom and CBS plans that they attempted to balance and expanded the CBS side somewhat.

And yes, it was held quiet from staff that didn't get bonuses. You where told not to talk about them.

Sorry for the bad/new news...that is just how it worked.

My number hit mid-year 2024 with no bonus. Was told severance bonus was eliminated after the Feb 2024 round and would be no longer offered. Curious if that information holds.

I didn’t get the bonus even after working for the company for over 14 years. My friend, who’s been there for more than 20 years, didn’t get it either — yet some people she knows did. I guess it just depends.

@a5 that email only applied to RTO opt in, which is essentially considered the same as quitting. Different rules apply to layoffs.
