Mustang GT3 — Two Wins in Five Months, Still Something to Smile About 🏁

Yeah, Ford’s had its share of rough patches — nobody’s pretending otherwise. EV delays, reorganizations, the usual noise. But every once in a while something cuts through all that and reminds you why this place still matters.

Back in May, the Mustang GT3 owned the streets of Detroit, taking GTD-PRO victory on home turf:

Five months later, it crossed the Atlantic and made history at the Nürburgring with an overall win — one of the toughest tracks on earth:

Two continents. Two legit wins. That’s what composure under pressure looks like. Feels good to see a Ford doing what it was built to do — win. 🔥🏆

This place is a joke, I feel like the GTD had some recent losses, it feels like a dino nugget celebration hangover. Ford has fumbled, here's to a clean slate in 2026. I think the solution RTO based spontaneous collaboration, maybe that will help. To many distractions and noise in 2025.

@bn EVs get patents - who cares? GT3s get parties. That’s the nugget, folks. Powered by dino juice and actual joy. Two victories, five months apart!

I agree and you are correct. Core business (Model e) is where all funds should be going since Model e products and services ARE our future. It has been stated many times in Global Town Halls AND this forum by people who know.

Spending resources any where else will not move the company forward.

@b0 The whole thing is just plain wrong, this should have ended a year ago, I don’t think Jimmy is even into racing, just makes people feel good.

Wasting money on racing when the company is in the state that it is currently in is simply criminal. All of this money could be going towards fixing Ford’s quality issues and repairing its damaged reputation.

Did JF write this? Ridiculous. Who cares about a stupid GT3. Ford should not be wasting time on this. Ford should focus on the core business!

I'm really not sure anyone even remotely cares about this that browses this forum. Why?

It's not noise. The place is a joke. It needs it's management and executive slate wiped CLEAN. There is no trust or respect at the employee level anymore.
