I don't know about this, I passed in 2018, and had a great 6 years (professionally and financially) before taking VSP in 2024. I think it really comes down to your personal situation.
Agreed, but the people who stayed made above-market salaries for the past seven years and had the ability to get out last year with the same sweet package. For those here long enough the cap was another 8 weeks of salary over severance plan, easily recouped with another year of salary, STI and LTI. My friends who left - yes, most are older - aren't working, except those in sales. The ship didn't sink because the best talent jumped. The ship sunk because the captain was unqualified.
