It's alarming how they persistently diminish value in critical talent areas. VZ demonstrates a lack of strategic clarity in this segment. Two imperative actions are required:

Firstly, acknowledge Tracfone's successful track record as a profitable multicarrier MVNO. Cease the mandatory migration of Value segment customers, currently utilizing ATT and TMO towers, to VZ towers.

Secondly, purge outdated IT GTS leadership who impede business processes and fail to deliver the capabilities essential for an exceptional customer experience. Many of them originate from the energy industry and are not there by merit, lacking fundamental understanding of the telecommunications sector. This overhaul is crucial for effective progress.

this is how VZ has been sugarcoating the loses on the value segment:

"Consumer reported 624,000 wireless retail prepaid net losses in second-quarter 2024.
This result included 410,000 wireless retail prepaid net losses related to the shutdown of
the Affordable Connectivity Program, the majority of which were in SafeLink Wireless,
Verizon's brand offering access to government-sponsored connectivity benefits and
programs. Wireless retail prepaid net losses, excluding SafeLink, were 12,000"

reality is VZ has no idea how to operate this space and our Leadership, especially the IT GTS VALUE SEGMENT needs to be replaced 100%

Value GTS is needing a much-needed reorganization following the departure of the narcissist. Rumor has it, he imported his incompetent cronies from World Fuel (WKC) and shamelessly promoted them during his time here. This situation demands immediate investigation

Any current Verizon employees looking to move to Value are crazy. Value is extremely unstable with terrible leadership. They have riffed top talent and decimated the TracFone customers base from 22 million customers to just under 16m. How these leaders still have jobs is beyond me.

Manon, Angie, and now Nancy have all failed to grasp the pre-paid / value segment space. Each has implemented their own strategies, depleting the talent that once thrived in this segment before the acquisition. Tracfone, once a stable and thriving business, is now heading towards a familiar ending seen with Yahoo and BlueJeans. Verizon's track record with acquisitions shows they struggle to integrate successfully

Yes Value had layoffs. Stay far away from that place. Highly toxic and extremely inept new managers brought in at discount prices. Run, don’t walk away from this disaster.
