Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

No open cubes today. Lol

a few people have shown up today and there are no open cubes. Wtf they expect you to do if there are no open cubes to work in. Oh and fyi it looks like cubes might be going away in some places. Just workstations crammed up against each other.

This is only gonna get worse.

Good job wells leadership, your speed race to be the worse company to work for is proceeding nicely.

@OP Sounds like Wells Farto is doing a slam bang up job. Can't think of a better place I would want to place my money to be secured and treasured. I am sure they consider their customers as well as their employees

Same! Same people come in every day to hoard the focus rooms that need to be shared so if we have to take a private call we can.
Who is enforcing the 2 hr rule!

Is the Lactation room available? Internet availability?

You need to think like an A hole NYC exec. They look at this problem and say "not for long". They will simply downsize people until the remnants "fit". Then they will keep downsizing until it's not enough people to justify having the building, then they close it and downsize the rest. See how this works? There not being enough desks temporarily is the least of our problems.

law of unintended consequences. take a picture to prove it, email your boss the pic and tell them you're working from home because no space available

@ac >>And when the cubicles are full, then you have folks crowding the focus rooms and conference rooms.

In the floor I'm assigned to, the focus rooms fill up before anyone takes a cube. People come in extra early to camp out in them all day. CPG doesn't even try to enforce the supposed 2-hour limit. Su-ks to be you if you need to get out of the noise wall and actually focus on something...

@a7 go to tech connection and tell them your sh@t doesn’t work.

I came in today and some mo--n moved all the cables from the port replicator to the thin client instead of just plugging in the port replicator like they’re supposed to. Pro tip people. Don’t mess with the workstation cables.

And when the cubicles are full, then you have folks crowding the focus rooms and conference rooms. Or they’re plugged in at a cafeteria booth all day because there’s nowhere else to sit. Some of the foyer areas in my building look like airport terminals during the middle of the week with people sprawled across couches and tables, looking for any available outlet. And somehow this system is better.

Chandler was full by 9am. I watched people leave and go home after not being able to find a cube. Now what??

My laptop is broke, the usbc only works with like 20% of the monitors. I got a crazy amount of work and i need lots of screen space. I go from my giant monitor at home to working a laptop. I'm about ready to lose my mind. The management here is straight up brain dead.

Probably full of people who are assigned elsewhere but are hiding from their boss so they can leave early without being noticed.

I just go in after hours. I got fed up playing musical cubes a long time ago. No one dictated what time of day we can go in.
