@c7 nothing in Belen

Lincoln lost six fitters (let’s be honest, that craft is done systemwide, and I say that as a fitter who was laid off a year and a half ago), 20 Carmen at (presumably) Havelock, and two laborers. Possibly one electrician apprentice.
@c7 we’re not leaving BO’s, Foreman are committing willful violations because of pressure from upper management to keep trains moving. CMO himself said he doesn’t GAF about thin/high flange defects and doesn’t want to see them set out anymore. Our only job is as fall guys to remove liability from the company if sh-t hits the ground, and they are realizing they can do the same thing with contractors for 1/3 of the cost. Doesn’t make sense to pay someone to sit on their a-s for 6hrs out of an 8hr shift. After this contract ends Carmen will be a thing of the past.
@c9 is that for carman in those two divisions? Cause diesel side cut today? So Carmen tomorrow?
Red river and powder river cuts possibly tomorrow, is the rumor
@bm not this time
Any more jobs cut by locations known so far? Belen, Clovis , Amarillo, etc ?
Let’s take our jobs seriously there are many BO’s left on train. We are giving the company fuel to cut jobs by letting things go and rushing through our jobs.
@b2 Do these positions ever come back? Once gone, gone for good?
BNSF going to force those paying dual craft dues, holding dual seniority, back to single craft, then cut again in same locations again, same as they did last year, don’t get comfortable. This is just a way force back so those displaced can’t go to another craft when they cut again.
Belen, Clovis, etc?
@b2 Topeka also losing
4 Maintenance Electricians
3 Laborers
2 BNB
3 of the effected craft are paying laborer dues, unknown yet whether that will displace an additional 3 laborers or if they will be absorbed as was done in the past.
Carmen
20 at Havelock
2 at Topeka
2 at Wenatchee
Kansas City LMIT
8 SMW ,
2 laborers,

Alliance:

Barstow LMIT-

6 fitters in Lincoln
Barstow got 17 laborers, some bnb, pipefitters, and waiting to see if they cut the electrician apprentices
2 laborers cut in Galesburg this morning. Both started within the last 3 months
Any mechanical layoffs at Barstow location?
Post the numbers
20 Carman from Havelock today
@ah most of the old heads are the same people who cry the loudest. You’re only cutting your own throat by furloughing the people who do 90% of the work.
People should have been bad ordering instead of just pulling bleed rods and lacing hoses the last 10 years. Seeing who could make it inside the office the fastest.
@ae solid performers don’t count in union, seniority does, still only going to get 4 hours out of ones left
@ab 17 labors in Barstow
Bout time they trim the fat. Paying employees for an 8hr shift and maybe getting 4 hrs of work is not efficient. That goes for about 80 percent of the employees. There are solid performers and we know who they are and take care of them.
It’s true
Any truth to this or this. Can Someone verify?
Where are all the locations so far? As far as Carman go.
