Struggling to fill vacancies after RTO

Not only do they mention it's harder to fill vacancies with RTO policies, they also say they use RTO as a method to reduce head count, and if that doesn't work they do layoffs. RTO is just a layoff in disguise.

A lot of companies are jumping on the RTO bandwagon, so it's a bit tougher to find a 100% remote gig. That said, many are offering a hybrid, so that's still more attractive than a 5-day demand.

And marketing has no problem filling their vacancies. No experience needed, lots of vacation and trips, SVP positions galore and big $$$.

This is very true, most people we’ve interviewed ghost us when they’re told about the five days on site policy.

The only people we’ve had apply, and are also willing to come in five days are older folks. Much older, like nearing retirement older.
