Heard there was a reorg of some of Staples businesses and there was a layoff of certain positions. Any idea of the # and who was affected?

When will HR be looked at under a microscope? JD is the only talent left it seems.
Death by a thousand paper cuts. Leave while you can. You’ll realize how much brighter it is on the other side.

I'm sorry you got laid off. For the record, layoffs typically happen on Mondays. Mine was on a Monday morning...to see the blank stares and looks of shock is something I'll never forget.
B2B’s finally merged with BDE’s. BDM is the new position created by the survivors. All BDE RSD’s let go. B2B ASM’s were the winners, will become RSD’s and RSD’s are now AVP’s. There you go.
Hi-Touch layoffs happened last year and maybe some additional ones happened as well this week.
Division by division, JL needs money. Side note, is he okay? Looks very emaciated.
Staples is starting to feel like a giant Jenga game. These layoffs taking a piece at a time out of the structure and morale of the company. Stores closing and integral members gone each month and you begin to wonder how long the company will remain standing. Sad to go to meetings where JL brags that those of us who thought there would be layoffs were wrong. But were we JL? Enjoy your meetings at the Palm Springs determining the fate of others while the rest of us fear for our jobs and live paycheck to paycheck.
Which division?
Just got my waking papers. I bled for this company and this is such a slap in the face! It hurts but somehow I know I’ll be better off. Also since when do they do layoffs on Mondays?
I know HiTouch was affected
Any update on this?
Very interested.
