Sara Wechter Chief Human Resources Officer must go!

As a senior woman at this bank, I am appalled at the handling of the bully and harasser Andy Sieg. The HR team here is the absolutely worse. In fact, Sara told us at a meeting of senior women that she knows nothing about HR and is just "fake it till you make it".
Jane, do us all a favor and go hire someone who understands the important role HR can play when led by someone with integrity and an ounce of employee advocacy.

@c2 You are right, the american dream ended when Trump was elected again. He is isolating the USA and him and his deranged lackys have zero trust and are unpredictable. Companies will move away because the opportunities are no longer in america, the new world order is coming and america is being left behind.

@cq All coordinated (I suspect) by people out to get AS. Seems like he was a bully, but not a s-xual harasser. Not his reputation from BOA. Spotless there. IL and her minions are hurt they lost power and are using this as a lame attempt to get back or get back power.

Wealth offers no value. It's all "relaionships." Just selling whatever models/products brought to them to sell.

It's just not acceptable. They should thoroughly investigate him and take action if required, and if he really behaved badly with his colleagues. What is the Citi Ethics department doing? Who is influencing the ethics department?

There is also a news going around that thousands of 'Citizens' will be let go in March 2026, and other country contractors and immigrant employees will probably remain. It may be a rumor. But worth investigating. All this is not at all acceptable. There is no American dream anymore. We just make other countries rich by off shoring contracts and hiring overseas! All the contracting vendors must be audited. It's a joke that contracts cannot train the employees and leave!

She is right. It is a fake it till you make it. Any self proclaimed experts are full of it. If you can't do, you become HR.

If you know tech, do tech. If you know finance, do finance. (Though not at Citi of course).

But in general, if you can't do a real job, you go to HR.

And she'll do just as lousy a job as anyone else.

Not a fan of her, but this all sounds like BS charges against Andy Sieg because these people were pi---d off.

The guy has a long history. If he was a s-xual harasser, it would have been known and his reputation.

He may be a bully and a bit obnoxious, but these just sound like disgruntled people who were not in the club when he and his flunkies came in to power.

@ag to be fair, early on I didn’t want to be near disease vectors like you. After a pretty bad case I became less concerned about the unwashed because each subsequent infection was much less severe

She came from finance and then moved into HR. You should be happy she is th reason why a ton in HR were laid off in the US and all th jobs went overseas. Good luck in getting any help at this point.

The HR Dept is garbage. The nail in the coffin for me was bribing people to take an experimental sh0t 5 years ago and threatened firing if you refused. Sara led that lovely initiative.

Citi is such a cesspool it can't hire and retain good talent anymore. What you get is people like Andy, Sarah etc who have no business in their roles but it's the best Citi can do.
