@aw not sure losing middle management positions is a good thing for the working class community. That's lots of well-paid jobs being extinct and less promotions available, while the f***ing directors and Michael Dell get richet every second.

The only people that are safe are the ones on project "Top G-n". Signing the NDA means nothing only to keep your mouths closed - nobody else is considered safe.... that came from grades that were above myself.

Most my team is gone, most teams I work with have lost half their teams.. maybe it’s 1% per day?
1% isn't worth the work and cost to re-org. It'll be more. It has to be more.
More like 6% now and 6% in Jan.
The bad news is the CEO of Amazon admits that their AI efforts will result in fewer jobs.
The good news is most of those jobs are middle management whose only functions are to pass along directives from above to those below them and two gather data from those below and pass it upward. An AI function if there ever is one.
Dell middle managers kindly take note.
