Well we can hate Dan but one thing he did good is to get rid of the Mafia like Russo, Cox and VPs under them. It needs to be cleaned up and ofcourse Sampath who literally destroyed VZ causing all the churn. I hope now he get rid of useless GN&T VPs and AVPs that keep posting on linked that are all lies.
Dan may not be the greatest guy but him breaking the mafia culture is something we all should appreciate!!! Hans failed at that

@bd…..gone from GN&T months ago, which was a great move, her and Russo were very close and went to the same school, this mafia was created by them and seen under them at VP, AVP, Sr Director levels. I hope soon she is gone from the wireline too. Verizon on the leadership need new ppl who have vision….not sitting and keeping their chairs warm for 30+ years.
Bring to all the way to Sr Dir, Dir, AVP, VP… why not just do 1 truly SR. Dir to really work as Sr. Dir rather than currently they keep asking each other about slides and pass the deck from one desk to next and manages millions in POs.

@OP for Dan to get the ship at least moving away from wrecks he needs to keep cleaning that old leadership, and clean it well deep down to SD at the minimum. There was never and still there is not responsibility in the verticals. They only know how to reorg the business units into a worse shape than before, presented it upstream as a success and always get away with it. I hope Aphonso reads this
@a2 GTS leadership is in dire need of severe gutting. It's more than a mafia, it's shady business, false promises, and cronyism. That VZI epic failures and lies are completely hidden. They all need to go.

Do not much about Network side but GTS was operating like a mafia.. you can get hired or get promoted only if you know the right people. SVP now reporting to Russo is still there, unless we get someone new .. problem is not fully solved..
