Do we need to get manager’s approval for the Off Ramp LOA? Any restrictions or limitations that we need to know of (other than that it is unpaid)?

@fp agree. I checked the sources in chatgpt responses and they were not very convincing.
On the other hand, my trust on the internal document is at somewhat “trust but verify” level.
The doc also says the manager can reject the request but Segwick will make the final decision.
Hence, the questions!
@dx "ChatGPT/Gemini states otherwise."
ChatGPT/Gemini are not authoritative sources. If they haven't been trained on the topic with "clean" data than they just do an Internet search and present whatever they find. If you haven't figured it out the Internet is full of all kinds of nonsense.
@dz No, actually I’m not. I’m someone else who was happy to see a helpful reply rather than more arrogant bullsh-t. Looks like you’re back to spewing that.
@dt Thank you for a helpful reply rather than an arrogant chastisement. It’s nice to see.
@dt hm, so how about RSU vesting? Ok, it says vesting continued until 90 days after OOR starts, but does it really? ChatGPT/Gemini states otherwise.
Yeah, hate whiners!
@dv lol, id--t is the one who write “ure”! This is not India loser!
voila, OP, ure an id--t.
What a bunch of winers in here. So going thru it or reading it - how do you not see it in the the 3rd bullet less than 20 words in.
Its literally the 3rd bullet on the PDF:
• Review the OOR Guideline on the Benefits Portal for benefits and limitations of this leave.
• Complete this form.
• Meet with your manager and seek his/her approval and 2nd level management approval.
• Retain a signed copy, provide a copy to your manager, and upload a copy to Sedgwick when you open a request for a leave through
the mySedgwick self-service app on the Benefits Portal, or call Sedgwick via People Support at 866 282-3866, option 5.
• Complete the steps as defined in the OOR guideline.
do you know each other? this seems like a personal grudge rather than a few terse comments...
@ce get lost loser! If i have the answer, i would not give answer to bi--hes like you loser.
Karma bit you first!
@bv I really hope karma bites you in the a-s. You need that smug smirk to be wiped off your bitter face.
@bv LOL, fu-k you! GIGO works too
Well, OP...garbage in, garbage out. Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer. Get it?
And no, "Reading and actually going through it" aren't two different things.
If you want to be lazy, use Circuit and save yourself the embarrassment here.
And based on your question and resultant $hitty attitude, I'm pretty sure your leadership chain won't approve the Off Ramp LOA because you actually need to be a valuable Cisco asset to be able to take that type of LOA. Just tell them you want to be included on the next LR.
@at No, I think it’s a fair response when responses like his are posted. Simply responding like an arrogant di-k does no one any good.
@af you seem like you are wrapped pretty tight...
@a5 how do you know i didn’t read a--hole?
Reading and actually going through it are two different things. Stop being an a-s here. Maybe it is best you stop responding like an a-s here! Not helping anyone.
Tell me you haven't read the info available on the benefits website without telling me....
Its pretty well documented
